Srinagar, April 8: The Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, today inaugurated a three-day Divisional Level Awareness Programme organized by the School Education Department in Jammu, highlighting the importance of responsible citizenship and holistic education.
In his address, the CM urged the youth to stay away from drugs, protect the environment, and act responsibly within society. He emphasized that education should equip students to face real-life challenges and make informed decisions, fostering both personal growth and community well-being.
The programme was attended by Minister for School Education Sakeena Itoo, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, and MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta, along with senior officials from the education department. The three-day initiative aims to engage students and communities in awareness activities promoting health, environment, and responsible social behavior.
