DMK Actress Reports Harassment Linked to Former Party Affiliation.webp

Chennai, March 27 Actress Ranjana Nachiyar, who recently joined the DMK, claimed on Friday that she was targeted by members of the TVK "virtual warriors" for leaving the Vijay-led party.

They allegedly "assassinated" her character in some videos and even "abused" her, she claimed, and criticized Vijay for not censuring his party members or controlling the troublemakers.

She had preferred to file a complaint with the police today regarding the "cyber bullying" by the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam's "virtual warriors," Ranjana told reporters here.

"I was like an elder sister to the TVK members when I was in that party, but after I resigned and joined the DMK, I became a target. Their leader, Vijay, should take responsibility to condemn them. However, his accountability is a big question," she said.
