DODA, March 7, 2026: SSP Sandeep Mehta, along with SP Vinod Sharma, reviewed the security situation in remote tribal villages of Bhaderwah, including sensitive areas like Dandi and Kansar, approximately 50 km from the district headquarters.
Speaking with members of the Gaddi community, the SSP emphasized strengthening Village Defence Committees, enhancing local intelligence, and fostering community cooperation to maintain peace. He noted that while 2025 was relatively calm, security forces continue to closely monitor vulnerable areas.
