
Doda, March 26: A "Lok Rang Utsav" (Festival of Local Culture) was organized on Wednesday at the Community Hall in Doda, in collaboration between the North Zone Cultural Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. The event showcased the region's rich cultural heritage.
Artists from seven states presented traditional folk music and dance, reflecting India's diversity and promoting unity in diversity.
Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal was the chief guest and praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of such events in preserving cultural traditions.
The program, organized under the guidance of Harvinder Kour, saw enthusiastic participation from both artists and local residents, making it a resounding success.
