
New Delhi, April 9 Copper prices fell by Rs 4.20 to Rs 1,197.20 per kilogram in futures trading on Thursday, due to weak demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for May delivery declined by Rs 4.20, or 0.35 percent, to Rs 1,197.20 per kg in a trading volume of 157 lots.
Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trading.
