February 18th, Aizawl: Doordarshan Kendra Aizawl achieves a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Aizawl Meteorological Centre for the installation of an X-Band Doppler Weather Radar at the Kendra premises.
The MoU was signed by Sudheer Kumar Dwivedi, Director, IMD, on behalf of the Aizawl Meteorological Centre, and Om Prakash Tripathi, HoO, Doordarshan Kendra Aizawl. This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to strengthening weather monitoring, enhancing early warning services, and improving disaster preparedness across Mizoram.
