NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 27: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh hosted a luncheon for a delegation of Ladakh students as part of the Student Experience in Regional Understanding (SERU) program. He praised their ambitious spirit and engaged them in discussions on youth empowerment, national integration, and emerging opportunities.

Dr. Singh emphasized the role of exposure and cultural exchange in building confidence, shared examples of inter-state student initiatives, and highlighted that technology and infrastructure now enable students from remote regions to pursue competitive careers. He also noted Ladakh's rapid educational and developmental progress, including the establishment of new colleges and the expansion of career opportunities.

The 30 participating students from Kargil, Nubra, and Changthang districts described the program as enriching, confidence-boosting, and strengthening their sense of national belonging.
