
New Delhi, March 28 Two men, including a cafe owner, were arrested after police seized an estimated Rs 10 lakh worth of drugs in southeast Delhi, officials said on Saturday.
Police intercepted vehicles near Taimoor Nagar on Friday and arrested the accused after they attempted to flee.
The accused have been identified as Kartik Mishra (30), a resident of New Friends Colony, and Vishal (20), a resident of Govindpuri, the police said.
During the operation, 99.25 grams of mephedrone (MD) were recovered from their possession. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at the New Friends Colony police station.
During interrogation, Mishra was found to be the alleged key link in the supply chain, while Vishal acted as a carrier and assisted in transportation and logistics.
Further investigation is underway, the officials said.
