February 24, Srinagar: The weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain largely dry, with no major rain or snowfall forecast over the entire region till the end of February. From February 24 to 26, weather conditions are likely to stay generally dry across most areas.
Between February 27 and 28, the region may witness partly to generally cloudy conditions, with chances of light rain or snowfall at isolated places, particularly in the higher reaches.
According to the outlook for the first week of March, from March 1 to 3, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected, with light rain or snowfall at isolated locations in higher altitude areas. From March 4 to 7, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy across the region.
An advisory has been issued for farmers, advising them to continue routine farm operations as weather conditions remain favourable. Meanwhile, a further rise in both minimum and maximum temperatures at most places is likely to continue over the next five days.
