April 11, New Delhi – External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. During the second leg of his visit, the EAM will meet with the leadership of the UAE to review close cooperation and deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.

In the first leg of his visit to Mauritius, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar achieved significant outcomes across key sectors, including health, green mobility, capacity building, education, and infrastructure.

The visit, guided by the ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy, Vision MAHASAGAR, and commitment to the Global South, saw India reaffirm its support for the development and progress of Mauritius. The visit underscores a shared focus on a sustainable and people-centric partnership.

India also handed over 90 electric buses to Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navin Ramgoolam, reaffirming a shared commitment to sustainable public transportation. These buses will be a symbol of the India-Mauritius Green Partnership.
