
Lucknow, April 3 Several parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh experienced rainfall, with the temperature reaching 35.9 degrees Celsius in Lucknow on Friday, according to the meteorological department.
Prayagraj recorded 5.6 mm of rainfall, while Varanasi recorded 2.6 mm, followed by Ghazipur, 1.0 mm, Fursatganj, 0.1 mm, and traces in Sultanpur, the MeT said.
Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 35.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 23.4 degrees Celsius, it said.
Sultanpur was the hottest place in the state, with the temperature reaching a high of 38.6 degrees Celsius, it said.
