Kolkata, March 30 The Election Commission (EC) has released the fourth supplementary voter list after the SIR (State Information and Resource) adjudications in West Bengal, an official said.

However, there was no information from the EC regarding the total number of deletions or inclusions.

"The fourth list has been released. We cannot provide any further information," the official said on Sunday.

Approximately 60 lakh names were marked as "under adjudication" in the final voter list published on February 28. Subsequently, 705 judicial officers were engaged to determine whether these names would be retained or removed from the electoral rolls.

Polling for the 294-member West Bengal Assembly will be held on April 23 and 29, with counting scheduled for May 4.
