April 5, New Delhi: The Election Commission has stated that voters can now access detailed information about candidates contesting in their Assembly constituencies through the ECI-NET platform.
Using the platform, voters can check candidates' educational qualifications, criminal records, assets, and liabilities. They can also download the full affidavit submitted by the candidates.
The Commission highlighted that ECI-NET is the world's largest electoral service platform. It brings together more than 40 apps and portals of the Election Commission into one seamless system.
Citizens can use the "Know Your Candidates" module on ECI-NET to easily access all relevant details about candidates, helping them make informed choices during elections.
