
New Delhi, April 7 Environmental solutions firm EcoEx announced on Tuesday that it has signed an initial agreement with IIT, Goa, to pursue sustainable development goals.
The partnership aims to combine EcoEx’s expertise in environmental services and digital compliance solutions with IIT Goa’s academic and research capabilities to support the development of scalable and implementation-oriented sustainability solutions.
EcoEx focuses on waste management, extended producer responsibility, and ESG-led initiatives to drive sustainable resource management.
"The partnership with IIT Goa reflects EcoEx’s strong commitment to advancing the circular economy and contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Through this collaboration, we aim to drive meaningful knowledge exchange and strengthen capacity building across the ecosystem," said Akshaya Rath, Co-Founder & CEO, EcoEx, in a statement.
The key objectives of the MoU include pursuing Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) goals.
The LiFE initiative was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at COP26 in 2021, which aims to mobilize individuals and communities to adopt sustainable, planet-friendly lifestyles to combat climate change.
