International delegates arrive in Assam to observe the election process
Guwahati, April 8: A team of 12 foreign delegates from seven countries, along with three representatives from the Election Commission of India, arrived in Assam as part of the International Election Visitors Programme (IEVP).
The delegation arrived at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati for a two-day visit aimed at observing the electoral process. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards strengthening global electoral cooperation and observation.
