Polling staff and security forces were deployed in Lakhimpur.
In the Lakhimpur district, polling staff, returning officers, and security forces have been sent to five Assembly constituencies. They departed from the North Lakhimpur Government Higher Secondary School to reach their assigned polling booths.
The district administration has verified all election materials before dispatch. A total of 25 candidates are contesting the election. The district has 8,43,400 voters, including 4,22,299 male voters and 4,20,686 female voters. There are 112 identified sensitive polling booths in the district.
