Indore, March 11 Vendors at the famous Chaat Chowpatty have begun replacing traditional gas stoves with electric appliances to preserve the city's food culture, following the sudden suspension of commercial LPG supplies due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

This shift comes as oil marketing companies have decided to prioritize domestic cooking gas, leaving the hospitality sector to find creative ways to serve their customers.

Shopkeepers say they will also consider using solar-powered appliances if necessary.
