Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inspected the elevated corridor connecting Pandu Port with National Highway 27 yesterday. The corridor was constructed at a cost of approximately ₹180 crore.
In a social media post, the Union Minister stated that the dedicated route will enhance connectivity between Pandu Port and NH-27 while significantly improving the speed of cargo transportation.
Earlier in the day, Sonowal also attended an important meeting of the Inland Waterways Authority of India and reviewed the progress of the department's ongoing projects.
