Jammu, March 22 The Army rescued an engineer who was injured during a snow clearance operation in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
The operation was being carried out at the Chattergala Pass on the Baderwah-Basholi road, which was blocked by snow.
"Despite the harsh weather conditions, troops of the Rising Star Corps safely evacuated the engineer after he fell into a stream," officials said.
He was then taken to the sub-divisional hospital in Bani for treatment.
