Enhanced Connectivity: Indore Airport Set for Round-the-Clock Service.webp

March 28, New Delhi — The Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport in Indore is set to operate 24 hours a day starting April 1, providing passengers with late-night flight options and greater flexibility.

This move follows the near completion of essential infrastructure upgrades at the airport, including the resurfacing of the runway.

Ramswaroop Yadav, Public Relations Officer, Indore Airport, stated that the runway work, initially scheduled to be completed in October 2025, was delayed due to rainfall. A NOTAM (Notice to Aviation) was obtained from the DGCA, allowing completion by March 31, 2026. The first layer and shoulder of the tarmac are complete, and the second layer is almost finished, meeting all required safety standards.

The 24-hour operation is expected to increase passenger traffic, improve connectivity, and provide travelers with more flight options to and from Indore.
