REASI, March 5: The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Department has launched Poshan 2.0 in Reasi to address child malnutrition and improve the health and nutrition of women and young mothers.
A dedicated center in Arnas will provide nutritional support, health check-ups, growth monitoring, and counseling, while also raising awareness about balanced diets, hygiene, and childcare practices.
CDPO Surinder Kour stated that Poshan 2.0 strengthens supplementary nutrition delivery and expands Anganwadi outreach, aiming to reduce malnutrition and improve overall health indicators in the district.
