Bhaderwah, March 19: A market inspection drive was conducted across the town, under the supervision of Sunil Bhutyal, in the lead-up to Eid-ul-Fitr, to ensure fair trade practices and the availability of essential goods.
Officials inspected shops for overpricing, black market activities, and proper display of price lists, with a particular focus on food items, sweets, and meat. Veterinary teams checked the quality of meat, while municipal authorities monitored cleanliness and sanitation.
The administration urged traders to follow regulations and maintain hygiene, warning that strict action would be taken against those who violated the rules.
