Exam Conflict Guidance: JKBOSE Advises Students.webp

JAMMU, MARCH 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has advised the concerned 12th-grade students to take the JEE examination instead of attending the practical examination if there is a conflict in the schedule for the practical examination issued by the Board.

In a notification issued here on the other day, the affected 12th-grade candidates have been advised to skip the Board's practical examination and prioritize participation in the JEE examination in case of a conflict.

As relevant, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is scheduled from April 2 to 9, 2026, which may conflict with the Board's notified practical examinations for some 12th-grade candidates.

However, the candidates facing a conflict have been advised to inform the Board by email at [email protected] on or before April 10, 2026, so that the authorities can issue a revised practical examination schedule for the affected candidates.

The candidates can send their detailed information, such as their name, examination roll number, the name of the examination center, the subject affected, and the date of the practical examination.

The Board, while wishing success to the aspiring JEE candidates, has reiterated its commitment to providing all possible assistance to these candidates.

According to the notification, the practical examinations for the affected candidates will be rescheduled and announced separately after the completion of the JEE examination.
