In Jammu and Kashmir, over 50,000 students appeared for the Class 10 examinations conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education across 527 centers in the summer zone of the Jammu Division.
In an official statement, JKBOSE said that the exams were conducted smoothly, with elaborate arrangements to ensure fairness, transparency, and orderly conduct. Center superintendents and supervisory staff were deployed with strict instructions to safeguard the integrity of the examination process.
Vigilance squads were also deployed for random checks to ensure compliance with examination protocols. Officials emphasized that the teams should maintain courteous behavior while carrying out their duties. Deputy Superintendents were specifically instructed to ensure that students correctly write their roll numbers and series, and sign their answer sheets at the appropriate places.
The Board requested district administrations to impose restrictions under Section 163 BNSS to prevent any external interference, ensuring the sanctity of the exams.
