
New Delhi, March 27 The government announced on Friday that it would remove the value limit per consignment for exports through courier service from April 1 this year.
Previously, the limit was Rs 10 lakh per consignment.
This move is expected to support small exporters and shipments facilitated by e-commerce.
"The value limit per consignment for exports through courier service will be withdrawn, effective April 01, 2026," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.
In the Budget, the government has announced the complete removal of the Rs 10 lakh per consignment value cap on courier exports.
