Mumbai, March 14 – Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will be celebrating her birthday on Sunday, and birthday wishes have already started pouring in for the "Highway" actress.
Her sister-in-law, Riddhima Kapoor, posted a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself posing with Alia and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt. Shaheen was sitting in the middle, and Riddhima and Alia were both placing their hands on her shoulder.
The caption read: "Happiest birthday to my darling Aaloo, I love you @aliabhatt" along with a heart emoji.
Alia is married to Riddhima's brother, Ranbir Kapoor, another Bollywood actor.
Their love story began when Alia and Ranbir came together for Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra" back in 2017.
Over time, these rumours gained momentum. However, in 2018, they made their first public appearance as a couple at the wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja.
After this, Alia and Ranbir made several appearances together at family weddings and dinner parties. The couple also celebrated the New Year together in 2019, with glimpses of which went viral on social media.
Alia and Ranbir finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Ranbir's residence in Bandra, Vastu, on April 14, 2022, in the presence of close family and friends.
On November 6, 2022, the couple welcomed their baby daughter, Raha Kapoor.
Regarding their professional commitments, Alia and Ranbir will be sharing screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming love saga "Love & War," which will also feature Vicky Kaushal in a significant role.
According to reports, the project is inspired by the Bollywood classic "Sangam," which featured Ranbir's grandfather Raj Kapoor, along with Vyjayanthimala and Rajendra Kumar.
In addition, Alia will also be starring in the latest installment of the YRF spy universe, "Alpha."
Sharvari and Anil Kapoor will also be a part of the spy universe’s first female-led action entertainer.
