Los Angeles, April 2 – Hollywood actress Lily Collins, known for her role in “Emily in Paris,” has shared an adorable update about her daughter.
The 37-year-old actress and her husband, Charlie McDowell, welcomed their daughter, Tove Jane McDowell, through surrogacy on January 31, 2025, according to ‘People’ magazine.
Recently, the actress posted a picture on her Instagram Stories, showing that Tove had just reached a significant milestone.
According to ‘People’, in the picture, Tove is seen sitting in her high chair with long, ashy brown hair, and Collins showed her 29 million followers that her daughter’s hair was getting long enough for her to tie it back, as she styled Tove’s hair into a cute, mini ponytail. “This is so heartwarming,” she wrote alongside the precious images.
Lily Collins took the pictures while Tove was wearing two bibs and eating, seemingly at home.
She and McDowell began dating rumors in 2019 and officially confirmed their relationship a month later by making their romance public on Instagram. The couple then got engaged in 2020 and married the following year, before welcoming Tove four years later.
“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell,” Lily Collins and Charlie wrote on Instagram at the time.
They also publicly thanked their surrogate, writing, “Words cannot express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back”.
Since then, the actress has celebrated her first Mother's Day with her daughter, and spoke about how becoming a parent has changed her life.
“You have expanded my world, broadened my horizons, and made me smile more than I ever thought possible. And it’s only the beginning. I couldn’t be more grateful or honored to be your mum,” she added.
