February 15, New Delhi: Maha Shivratri, one of the most sacred Hindu festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva, is being celebrated on Sunday across India.
Observed in the month of Phagun, the 12th and final month of the Hindu lunar calendar, the festival marks a night of fasting, prayer, chanting, and spiritual awakening.
