Madhubani, March 5 Five people, including a woman, died and two others were injured in a road accident in the Phulparas area of Madhubani district, Bihar, on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred when a SUV carrying them crashed into a truck in the morning, they said.
"One person died on the spot, while four others succumbed to injuries during treatment. Two of the injured are currently receiving treatment," said Vikram Acharya, Station House Officer of the Phulparas police station.
The identities of the deceased – all residents of Haryana – are yet to be confirmed.
