The fifth edition of the Goa Maritime Conclave concluded today at the Naval War College, with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi calling for stronger, technology-driven maritime cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region.

In his closing remarks, the Navy Chief thanked delegates from fourteen partner nations, including Comoros, Kenya, Maldives, and Seychelles, for their active participation. He noted that the conclave followed major maritime engagements in Visakhapatnam, including the International Fleet Review, MILAN, and IONS, reflecting a shift from broad dialogue to practical cooperation.

The Navy Chief reaffirmed India’s commitment to working with partner nations to ensure a safe, secure, and stable Indian Ocean.
