
Chennai, February 19 – The producers of the recently released film, "Hotspot 2 Much," have now gifted director Vignesh Karthick a Mahindra Scorpio as a token of their appreciation for the film's success.
In a video clip that has gone viral, producers Aneel K Reddy, Suresh, and Robbie were seen jointly presenting the car key to director Vignesh Karthick. The producers stated that the film "Hotspot 2 Much" had generated a profit several times greater than their initial investment. They emphasized that the credit for creating a critically acclaimed and commercially successful film should go to director Vignesh Karthick, and they expressed their gratitude to him.
For those unfamiliar, the film, starring Priya Bhavani Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Rakshan, Ashwin Kumar, and Aadhitya Baaskar, was released on January 23 of this year. The Censor Board had cleared the film's release with a U/A certificate.
The second installment in the Hotspot franchise followed a similar storyline to the first. The story revolves around a female director (Priya Bhavani Shankar) meeting with a producer, and in the process, narrating three stories. One of these stories is about irresponsible fans arguing over their favorite actors on social media, while the second is about a woman's right to dress as she chooses. The third story is about an individual who falls in love with a girl living in the future.
The film, directed by Vignesh Karthick, also featured actors M S Baaskar, Bhavani Sre, Brigida Saga, and Sanjana Tiwari in prominent roles.
Interestingly, the film was produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz, owned by actor Vishnu Vishal.
Technically, the film had cinematography by Jagadeesh Ravi and Joseph Paul. The music was composed by Satish Raghunathan, and the editing was done by Muthayan U. C Shanmugam was the art director for the film. Kishore Sankar also co-directed the film.
