Mumbai, April 9 – Amidst the overwhelming success of "Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge", filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has shared his views on the movie through his latest social media post.
Addressing the section of the film fraternity who had termed "Dhurandhar" as "propaganda", the "Animal" maker wrote on his official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, "Writers and actors built careers on propaganda, and the industry remained silent like cats. Now, the same group mocks "Dhurandhar". You can't call yourself liberal if your first instinct is to mock. I don't know when truth started being labeled as propaganda... strange times."
Sandeep Reddy Vanga also offered some serious advice to filmmaker Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh on how to deal with critics.
"LET ME GET TO THE POINT... I want to tell @AdityaDharFilms & @RanveerOfficial that this approach won't work... you can't just use a pinch of red chili powder... you need to burn the whole field. I watched "#Dhurandhar2TheRevenge" last night... Outstanding film," he continued to share.
Appreciating the encouraging words of the "Arjun Reddy" maker, Aditya Dhar reciprocated the sentiment in the comment section, saying, "My dear Sandeep, I genuinely admire the way you stand your ground and give it back when it matters. There's a real honesty and belief in that, and I truly respect it. I've always admired how you support your cinema without any doubt or noise. That kind of conviction reminds all of us to trust our voice and just go for it. Please give my love to the Legend Prabhas sir! All the best for Spirit. I'm really looking forward to it.
