
Jammu, February 23 An ambulance was damaged after it caught fire in the parking area of the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
According to the officials, the fire started in the patient compartment of the 108 ambulance and quickly spread to the parked vehicle.
The fire was brought under control by the hospital staff and fire service personnel, they said.
They said the cause of the fire was not immediately known, and authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
