Jaipur, March 3 A fire broke out in an apartment on the sixth floor of a 10-story building in Jaipur's Shyam Nagar area on Tuesday morning, according to police.
No casualties have been reported.
Upon receiving information, Shyam Nagar police arrived at the scene and, with the help of residential security personnel, began evacuating families from the building.
Two families who had moved to the terrace to save themselves were safely brought down with the assistance of a hydraulic fire brigade.
Two fire trucks were deployed, and the fire was brought under control after nearly 30 minutes.
