Surat, April 1 A massive fire completely destroyed a textile factory in Surat on Wednesday, with no casualties reported so far, officials said.
The fire broke out around 10 am at the Gopi Knitting textile factory, part of Hojiwala Industries, in the Sachin industrial area, they said.

The fire has been brought under control, and cooling operations are underway. There have been no reports of any injuries, he said.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, it has caused extensive damage to the factory, the official added.
