Srinagar, March 31 Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said here.
Security forces had cordoned off the Arahama area in the district to conduct searches as part of an anti-terror operation.
Officials said that shots were reportedly heard near the cordoned area.
