Chennai, February 19 – Actor Arya released the first look of the upcoming film "Kenatha Kanom," starring Yogi Babu in the lead role, on Thursday, much to the delight of fans and movie enthusiasts.
In a post on his X account, Arya wrote, "Delighted to reveal the first look poster of #KenathaKanom. It looks intriguing and promising. Best wishes to the entire team for a big success."

Sources close to the film unit said that the occasion held profound emotional significance for the team, as the film's director, Suresh Sangaiah, had passed away recently.
Suresh Sangaiah, revered for his exceptional directorial skills in "Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu" and "Sathya Sodhanai," remains a cherished figure in Indian cinema.
The first look of "Kenatha Kanom" presents a realistic and rustic aesthetic, hinting at a situational, character-driven, and entertaining drama rather than overt comedy. Yogi Babu is positioned in the center of a gathering of villagers. His folded hands and earnest expression suggest humor emerging organically from the circumstances and the prevailing confusion. The earthy color palette, layered composition, and rugged title design further reinforce the rural setting, indicating a narrative where comedy and drama intertwine through everyday chaos, community dynamics, and subtle absurdity.
Besides Yogi Babu, who plays the protagonist, the film also stars Lovelyn Chandrasekhar, Ramakrishnan, Raichel Rebecca, George Mariyam, Mottai Rajendiran, Kavitha Barathi, Kalaipandiyan, Hello Kandasamy, and many others.
On the technical front, Nivas K Prasanna is composing the music for the film. V. Thiyagarajan is handling the cinematography, while R Ramar is overseeing the editing. P.L. Subentar is responsible for art direction. Sudesh is the stunt director. P. Kathavarayan and T.P. Sasi Kumar are the Production Executives, with A.R. Amalraj as the Executive Producer. The film is being produced by R. Ramesh Babu and Jegan Baskaran.
