Five Children Injured by Quadcopter in Pakistan.webp

Peshawar, March 10 Five children were injured in an attack involving a quadcopter in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan on Tuesday, police said.

The incident occurred in the Takhtikhel area of the Lakki Marwat district.

Explosives dropped from the quadcopter injured five children, of whom two boys were taken to a hospital in Bannu due to their serious condition.

Three girls were also injured in the attack and were taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital in the Serai Naurang town.

A police contingent reached the site of the incident and launched a search to locate the perpetrators. The police searched the area for the suspected terrorists.

The attack occurred nearly a month after eight minor boys were injured in an attack involving a quadcopter in the Takhti area of Lakki Marwat.
