Security measures have been increased in Sivasagar ahead of the Assembly elections.
On Wednesday, personnel from central security forces conducted a flag march through the town, accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Papori Chetia.
The Superintendent of Police stated that the initiative aims to ensure peaceful, free, and fair elections in the district.
It should be noted that 18 companies of central security forces have been deployed in the district to maintain law and order.
