The Department of Personnel and Training, the Capacity Building Commission, and Karmayogi Bharat will jointly organize a week-long Sadhna Saptah (Dedication Week) starting tomorrow in New Delhi. The aim is to enhance the capabilities, performance, and efficiency of civil servants across the country. Employees and officers from all levels of Union ministries, departments, organizations, and states will participate in the week-long program, both on the iGOT platform and through other means. Chairperson of the Capacity Building Commission, S. Radha Chauhan, stated that the entire effort during the Saptah will be to assess how capacity building aligns with the objectives of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Highlighting the iGOT platform, the Chairperson said that iGOT is a comprehensive platform for capacity building that offers courses related to behavior, functions, and specific domains.
Secretary, Capacity Building Commission, Jagdeep Gupta, said that the program is aligned with the broader vision of Mission Karmayogi, which focuses on building a future-ready civil service. Mr. Gupta highlighted that under Mission Karmayogi, a wide range of courses and learning modules have been introduced, including areas such as technology, artificial intelligence, and indigenous knowledge systems. He expressed confidence that such efforts will further strengthen the culture of capacity building and contribute to more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance.
