Fuel Stock Secure: Ludhiana Officials Respond to Concerns.webp

Ludhiana, March 11 The district administration on Wednesday issued a firm assurance that there is no reason to panic regarding the availability of LPG cylinders, diesel, or petrol, confirming that Ludhiana has adequate stock to meet public demand.

Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain said the supply chain is functioning smoothly. He urged residents to refrain from panic buying, noting that unnecessary hoarding creates artificial shortages and disrupts the distribution system.

The appeal comes as some residents began panic-booking domestic gas cylinders amid concerns that the escalating conflict in West Asia could disrupt energy supplies.

The district administration asked citizens not to be swayed by rumors, adding that panic buying only causes inconvenience to others.

"There is no need for the public to panic. The district has sufficient stock of LPG cylinders, diesel, and petrol," Jain said.

The deputy commissioner said the administration has sought daily reports regarding the stock and supply status of essential fuels to ensure seamless availability.

He also warned against spreading misinformation and advised citizens to rely only on official communications for updates.
