New Delhi, March 12 Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts announced on Thursday that it has secured USD 7 million (approximately INR 64.49 crore) in its first funding round from Ionware Inc, a Singapore-based investment holding company.
The capital will be used to support international acquisitions, enhance experiential offerings, and strengthen the brand's global presence, the company stated.
Eight Continents is currently in the process of acquiring hospitality assets, including La Barbarie in Guernsey Island and The Vincent Hotel in Southport, with the handover process currently underway.
Richa Adhia, Managing Director, Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts, said, "This investment allows us to scale our operations effectively as we further develop our capabilities and continue to strengthen our portfolio."
