New Delhi, March 2 Prices of cottonseed oil cake fell by Rs 8 to Rs 3,311 per quintal on Monday in futures trading, as traders reduced their positions, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 8, or 0.24 percent, to Rs 3,311 per quintal, with an open interest of 12,100 lots.
Analysts said that a sell-off by traders at existing levels, amid a subdued market trend, weighed on the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
