New Delhi, March 5 Prices of cottonseed oil cake fell by Rs 5 to Rs 3,363 per quintal on Thursday in futures trading, as participants reduced their positions, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 5, or 0.15 percent, to Rs 3,363 per quintal with an open interest of 19,790 lots.
Analysts said that a sell-off by participants at existing levels, amid a subdued market trend, weighed on the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
