New Delhi, February 23 Guar seed prices rose by ₹44 to ₹5,407 per quintal in futures trading on Monday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery rose by ₹44, or 0.82%, to ₹5,407 per quintal, with an open interest of 59,925 lots.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
