New Delhi, February 28 Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed concern over the escalating tensions between Israel-US and Iran on Saturday, urging the Indian government to take immediate and proactive steps to ensure the safety of all Indians in the Middle East.
"The rapidly escalating tensions between the US and Israel, and Iran, are deeply concerning," he wrote on X.
"The safety and security of every Indian citizen across the Middle East must be our top priority," the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha stated.
Gandhi also urged the Government of India to take immediate and proactive measures to protect its citizens.
The US and Israel launched a major attack on Iran on Saturday. Iran responded by targeting Israel with missiles and drones, and also by striking US military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
