February 27, New Delhi – Delegations from Iran and the United States concluded a new round of nuclear talks in Geneva, Switzerland, following significant progress in negotiations.

The meeting marked the third round of indirect nuclear discussions between the two sides under the mediation of Oman, which began on Thursday morning.

Iran's delegation was led by Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, while U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner represented the United States in the negotiations.

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who acted as mediator, said both sides planned to resume negotiations "soon" after consultations in their respective capitals. He added that technical-level discussions would take place next week in Vienna.

Speaking after the talks, Araghchi described the meeting as "one of our most serious and longest rounds of negotiations with good progress." He also said the two sides agreed to begin technical reviews in Vienna next Monday.
