The UT-level Softball Championship 2025-26 concluded at GGM Science College, Jammu, with the participation of approximately 400 athletes from across Jammu and Kashmir.
The three-day championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association.
Teams from Jammu dominated multiple categories, winning titles in the Sub-Junior and Junior Girls, as well as Senior Men categories. Pulwama won the Senior Girls title, while Srinagar secured the top honors in the Sub-Junior and Junior Boys categories.
Jammu Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar felicitated the winners and participants, distributing trophies and medals during the closing ceremony.
Congratulating the athletes, he encouraged them to continue working hard with dedication to further develop their skills and achieve success in future competitions.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased emerging sporting talent from across the Union Territory, highlighting the growing popularity of softball in the region.
