The State Government announced on Tuesday that the GHADC elections would be held on April 10.
The schedule for the GHADC election was approved by the State Cabinet on Tuesday.
Cabinet Minister, Wailadmiki Shylla, while speaking to the media, informed that the date for calling constituents to elect representatives is March 9. The last date for filing nominations is March 16 before 3 pm. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on the same day after 3 pm.
The last date for withdrawing nominations is March 17 till 3 pm. The date for finalizing and publishing valid nominations and allotting symbols is March 18.
The date of the election is April 10 from 7 am to 4 pm, while the counting of votes will take place on April 14.
It may be mentioned that different political parties have already started campaigning for the elections, and the NPP has even announced the candidates for the majority of the seats.
