Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, inaugurated free coaching classes for girls in the Koteranka area of Rajouri on Tuesday, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme.
Approximately 100 girls from the Koteranka and Khawas blocks will participate in the program and receive free coaching for three months. This initiative will provide academic support to students in grades 9 to 12.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner stated that Koteranka is a remote block, and the district administration has launched this initiative to promote and support girls' education in the area.
He expressed the hope that the program will help students strengthen their studies and improve their academic performance.
